E-Newsletter

Please use this form to subscribe to our email newsletter, AdventureCORPS News.

It is our goal to only send you useful, informative, interesting, and entertaining info, insights, stories, and more about our events, the people who do them, the greater world of endurance and adventure sports, and the natural world in which these events are held. We send out an average of three newsletters per month: sometimes less, sometimes more.

Thanks for your interest!

We are now also archiving our email newsletter on the AdventureCORPS Blog. You can also subscribe to our blog feed there. Thus, to "double up" your likelihood of actually receiving the email newsletter (see below), we suggest you sign up here AND on the blog. The blog, when it comes to you via the email feed, comes through more neatly, appearance-wise, includes some photos and such, and has more links to the blog archive. It's pretty neat. So sign up here, and there! Blog link.

Note, we have a second blog called "Rough Riders: Any Bike, Anywhere" which you may also enjoy and for which you can also subscribe to an email feed. The Rough Riders content is 90 to 100% different from the AdventureCORPS blog / email newsletter content, on average, by the way. Check it out, and sign up for that feed, at this link.

Note to all subscribers:

Right now, before you even click submit below, add blog at adventurecorps dot com to your email address book. That will help insure (but not guarantee) that our newsletters are not treated as spam by your computer's mail program and/or by your ISP. If you sign up for our newsletter and don't receive a confirmation email immediately, and then don't actually receive our email newsletters, there is nothing we can do on this end for you. We're not your Internet Service Provider, nor your email provider, nor your computer - your culprit lies there, not with us. We have over 7,000 subscribers and the overwhelming majority do apparently receive our newsletters. We hope you'll be one of them and enjoy our newsletter's many benefits, including exclusive event registration links and much, much more. As we said above, it would be a good idea to also sign up for our blog feed(s): adventureCORPS Blog / Rough Riders Blog.

Note to Yahoo users:

As far as we can tell, Yahoo's spam filter defaults to deleting all mail which it believes is spam, which often includes our email newsletter. THEREFORE WE STRONLY DISCOURAGE SUBSCRIBING TO OUR NEWSLETTER WITH A YAHOO ACCOUNT. (Use a work or other email address instead.) On Yahoo, the supposed "spam" or "junk" mail doesn't go into a bulk folder by default. There is an option to send spam to a bulk folder where you can review the mail yourself: you need to select this option. Then, when you review the messages in the bulk folder, there is an option to instruct the spam filter that certain senders of e-mail are, in fact, not spammers. So if you're a Yahoo user, you need to do this - add us to your address book and then check your spam folder to "white list" our email address (news "at" adventurecorps dot com) or you will likely not receive our email newsletter. Even then, there's a good chance you won't receive our newsletter, proving the old adage "you get what you pay for." (Perhaps the blog feed will get through to you better?)

Note to AOL users:

Same or similar problem as with Yahoo. You need to figure out what you need to do to "white list" us so that you actually receive our email newsletters. Also, if the form above doesn't work for you, you need to view this page via a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Safari, or Firefox instead of via AOL itself.
